Lingual Brackets are fitted to the inside of the teeth. They still move the teeth into the position desired but are less visible which gives the aesthetic required by patients. So, no one will even know you are wearing braces unless you would like them to know.

Lingual Brackets can also be made to fit each tooth individually. They can also be made of gold. However, as they are fitted to the inside of the teeth, they will be less visible.

 

Advantages and Disadvantages of choosing invisible braces over the

The advantages of this is that the braces are not seen by other people unless you look directly in their mouth.

The disadvantages are that it is more expensive than traditional metal braces and it can take a few months longer to show results.
