Digital Intraoral Cameras
Intra-Oral Camera involves a tiny, pen-sized camera that’s used to look inside of a patient’s mouth. It combines the latest video technologies with dental care. Both the patient and dentist can see detailed images of the teeth and mouth in real time. With an intraoral camera, patients are able to better understand what is happening and review the status of their oral health.
Digital X-rays
Computerized X-rays use special sensors, in the place of film to reduce radiation exposure, as compared to a traditional X-ray, for safer results.
Itero Digital Impressions
The digital impression system is more accurate and replaces the uncomfortable, unpleasant-tasting, messy and sometimes inaccurate traditional putty impressions. No bulky trays or sticky putty needed!
Using a digital scanner, we will take three-dimensional (3-D) digital images, or impressions, of your teeth and bite. We can also use them to visually show you your treatment options and help us keep you up-to-date on your treatment progress.
3Shape Trios Intraoral Scanner
This scanning wand captures 3D digital impressions of your teeth and mouth with one of the most accurate, least invasive technologies available. 3Shape Trios scanner completely eliminates the need for physical impressions and maintains accuracy even if the patient moves. We can show you the images on a computer during the scan in real time – the result is a shorter appointment, a more accurate diagnosis and greater comfort for you.
Electronic Medical Records
Using Electronic Medical Records, our practice is able to quickly and accurately access patient information in order to provide the utmost in patient care. This helps to ensure patient confidentiality as well as reduce the need for paper. Using a digital format allows for quick access to patient information when needed while providing a secure filing system.
Digital Flat Screen Monitors
The television monitors are found next to each patient chair. Patients can watch a movie or TV show. Patients can also view their photos, dental x-rays or scans when speaking to the dentist about the findings for a better understanding of their oral health.
